Stars in Birds of Prey Program
Wye Marsh has many new Birds on site that are now part of the Birds of Prey Program! The Program continues to grow with adoptions and revenues earned. You can Adopt-A-Bird of Prey, sponsor a flight cage, equipment, food. When you sponsor a bird you get to name it, receive a Wye Marsh membership, an opportunity to work with a Wye Marsh Falconer to fly the bird, and a plaque posted on the birds flight pen. Our mission is to spark a commitment to preserving woodlands, wetlands, and wildlife by providing educational opportunities in a natural setting. Live animals are one of the greatest tools we can use to educate the public on the complexity of these environments, and the creatures that inhabit our pristine marsh. The lesson of habitat destruction can never be taught enough. Put simply, if we can get you to fall in love with the animals, then you will want to help in protecting the areas they live in!
