The results of the "Hare's Hop" Snowshoe Race held at Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre:
Ladie's Division
1st place Jill Goddard #234 at 21 minutes 50 seconds
2nd place Nicole Mace #233 at 22 minutes 7 seconds
3rd place Leslie Stobbart #235 at 24 minutes 35 seconds
4th place Danielle C. #228 at 25 minutes 51 seconds
5th place Allana M. #226 at 26 minutes 31 seconds
6th place Irene Parker #232 at 37 minutes 5 seconds
7th place C. Coutts #229 at 37 minutes 6 seconds
Men's Division
1st place Eric Pagel #227at 30 minutes 53 seconds
2nd place Doug Parker #230 at 36 minutes 45 seconds
3rd place Dave Watts #231 at 36 minutes 46 seconds
Prizes were awarded to top three finishers in both divisions. When asked about the course the group concurred that the 4KM race was the perfect length, lots of tight corners, and a wonderful place to be held. We had just over 60 Trumpeter Swans at our pond that day which they passed along their route.
