Active Family Challenge Walks at Wye Marsh

Are you and your family participating in the Simcoe County Active Family Challenge?   If so, join us at Wye Marsh any Sunday morning in May for a free stroll on our trails.  Present your May Action Tracker to the front desk upon arrival for your free pass to the trails and upon returning we will stamp your book.  This exciting event for May is sponsored by Good for Life and many other local area sponsors.  So come on out and enjoy all the sights and wildlife that Wye Marsh has to offer.

Date: Every Sunday in May
Time: 9:00am to Noon
Cost: Free admission upon presentation of your May Action Tracker booklet

Full Moon Spring Peepers Walk

Come out and enjoy one of the first signs of spring, the Spring Peeper.  These small frogs create one of the loudest natural sounds in spring and summer.  A Wye Marsh naturalist will teach you the tricks to tracking down these tiny creatures and how to listen to the frogs of the wild.  We will even work on a little choir of our own as we sing out the choruses of the different frogs of Ontario .  No “froggin” adventure would be complete without one of our famous Wet N Scaly reptile shows.  Come out, have some fun, and make some friends with nature noisiest animals!
Date: Saturday, May 17th
Time: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Cost: $5 for members and $8 for non-members
