Guided canoes are an additional $6 plus GST per person and canoers must be 6 years of age or older. Kayak excursions are an additional $10 plus GST per person and kayakers mus be 8 years of age or older.

Canoes and kayaks can be pre-registered by calling and making a reservationCanoe tours and Kayak Excursions are weather dependent.


The "Birds of Prey Soaring" Show is Great Family Entertainment!

Visitors will experience spectacular birds of prey in action. The Raptors are handled by Wye Marsh staff with assistance from Matt Lieberknecht. Flight demonstrations are both educational and entertaining. These shows are enjoyable and fascinating for groups of all ages and interests. Birds of Prey are introduced and flown in simulated hunting, and represent a variety of different family groups. For an up close and personal look at birds of prey come and enjoy the Birds of Prey Show
every Sunday at 1:00pm!


GPS UnitGeocaching

Do your kids have a passion for video gaming?  Try this new and exciting electronic treasure hunt game in the wilderness and enjoy the sights and adventure that Wye Marsh has to offer.  Included with admission we can provide you with a GPS unit (valid driver's license required to sign out) binoculars and trail maps at no extra charge.  The only rule in Geocaching is to take something, leave something in return, and record your visit in our logbook.  Did you know there are now more than 346,000 active caches in 221 countries.
