• Poison Pie, Other Fungi, & Parasitic Plants - September 8, 2024
  Join us for a fascinating 2 hour workshop, shining the spotlight on deadly sac fungi, jelly fungi, gilled mushrooms, slime molds and parasitic plants growing at Wye Marsh. Learn about their ecological roles, and the incredible communication networks they form. Enjoy a guided tour and make your own "spore print" to take home!
• Music in the Marsh - September 14, 2024 from 7-9 pm
  An Open-Air Fundraising Concert! Let the sweet sounds of acoustic guitars, soft rock ballads, and country melodies lead you along the trails for a magical night at Wye Marsh.
• Bark, Twigs, Leaves: Tree ID Workshop - October 19th, 2024 9:30-11:30am
  Branch out, go out on a limb, and turn over a new leaf. Join our Conservation and Stewardship Manager for an enticing two-hour workshop to learn how to identify trees from their silhouettes, leaves and bark patterns.
• Halloween on the Trails - October 27, 2024
  All things spooky, silly, and sparkly are invited in costume to celebrate Halloween in the marsh! Put on your Halloween finery. Teleport to Wye Marsh. Explore the trails to collect stamps in your Halloween passport.
• Stained Glass Chickadees - November 10th or 24th, 2024, 12-3pm
  Discover the world of stained glass – discover the world of “bending light” - as you create your own Chickadee suncatcher with holly and berries!
