Kids Crochet an Owl
Feed your child's creative spirit and their love of nature. This afternoon workshop will introduce everyone to basic crochet stitches, and end with a cuddly owl - plus TWO FREE patterns for a cute frog and sweet bumble bee to take home and try!
Where: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre
When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 1:30 - 4:00 pm
How much: $30.00 per person + HST. All needed yarn and crochet hooks will be provided for use during the workshop.
Who: Ages 10 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult

About the Instructor:
Emmet Bridges graduated from McMaster University after 5 years studying Earth and Environmental Science, and has volunteered at our Sweetwater Harvest Festival and worked over the summer of 2023 as part of our Conservation Stewardship Department.
Now working as a Water Technician, Emmett returns to Wye Marsh to show you how to create functional art inspired by nature.
