Nature Journaling Workshop
Discovering the natural world for oneself is a wonderful way to learn more about it. Nature journaling allows us to do just that!
This workshop will help participants to look closer at the natural world by learning through observation. Discover new ways to appreciate nature through the art of sketching and journaling. We will talk about taking good notes using simple tools like rulers and pencil crayons, watercolours, markers, or crayons to illustrate our findings. We will also talk about how to incorporate photos in your nature journal for future reference.
This workshop will feature one hour of indoor instruction followed by one hour of nature journaling time outdoors. Participants should wear appropriate clothing to be outside for the majority of the workshop, and should wear gloves with some dexterity (i.e. gloves with fingers) that allow for the use of rules, pencils etc.
