About the Instructor:

Susan Dalrymple has worked with stained glass for over 16 years.  Her work with stained and fused glass began with a desire to be creative, but with the disciplined and skilled techniques required for working with glass.

“You start with an idea, create the pattern, and the colours in the glass bring the image to life.”

As Susan’s art glass skills grew, friends and acquaintances, through word-of-mouth, wanted to purchase her projects or commission her to create custom works.  She founded Bending Light Designs (BLD) as a home-based studio and teaches at a professional studio.

Susan has sold many pieces of unique glass designs, commissioned work and has donated numerous pieces to various fundraisers. Well known in the community for her volunteer involvement, Susan is a recipient of the Governor General Sovereign Caring Canadian Award for Volunteers.
