Join us for a variety of programming that allows visitors to up close and personal with nature!
 
All tours and activities are subject to change and availability such as:
High winds, storms, above a humidex of 34°C, guided tours may be cancelled last minute.

  • Saturday September 23 - No 2pm canoeing
  • Saturday September 30 - No 10am kayaking

 

Guided Canoe Tours...

Join our Naturalists on a 1-hour guided voyageur-style canoe tour of the Marsh channels. Tours are offered on a first come, first served basis - no pre-registration is required. 

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure to allow enough time to purchase your day pass and canoe tour tickets. Tours are subject to change and availabilty. 

Tours leave our docks promptly at 2:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays

  • All expertise and ages are welcome. 
  • Those weighing under 30lbs need to provide their own life jacket/PFD.
  •  Please call 705-526-7809 if you would like to confirm that tours are running.

Guided Kayak Tours...

Join our Naturalist on a 1.5-hour guided kayak tour and discover wildlife amoungst the water lilies and cattails in a way that only a kayak will allow. 

Tours leave our docks promptly at 10am on Saturdays only

  • Must be at least 8 years of age - under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Tandem & single kayak options available.  Youth aged 8-10 must be in a tandem with an adult.
  • No pre-registration. Please sign up for a kayak upon your arrival (please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure time).
  • General admission, plus an additional $10 +hst per person
  • Tours are subject to change and availabilty.

Join one of our naturalists for a guided experience of one of their favorite Wye Marsh activities!   All ages and abilities are welcome, enthusiasm for nature is mandatory!

Meet at the Visitor Centre promptly at 12:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays

 

Feature Creature...

Saturday & Sunday! Join our Animal Care team for an opportunity to meet some of our Educational Ambassadors. Learn more about their personalities, favourite foods, natural habitats, and much more at a 30 minute demonstration. Demonstrations are held at 1:00pm.
